Concertos
Qasim and Steven present a new collaborative project combining modular synthesis and analog projection feedback. Using a voltage-controlled synthesizer and two vintage Sony camcorders—without computer effects—the work explores infinite visual and sonic recursions reminiscent of facing mirrors. Its beauty lies in the difficulty of controlling it, in the struggle to constrain what is fleeting, boundless, and constantly evolving.
